My husband has two jobs he is an artist and a salesman. He earns
commissions from both jobs, so we never know what our income will be. I
work part-time and am paid hourly. How can we possibly live on a budget?
Jenn P., Texas he mistake many people who live with an uncertain income
(or what I call mystery means) make is they spend whatever amount of
money they earn as it comes in.
They multiply a good months
income by 12 and figure thats about what their annual income should be
and then set their lifestyles accordingly. Then they starve during the
lean months, allowing all the bills to go past due hoping that a good
month will follow soon.More than 80 standard commercial and granitetiles exist to quickly and efficiently clean pans.
The
secret to living on an uncertain income is to determine the very
minimum you need to live each month. What dollar figure must your
husbands commissioned jobs produce so that when added to your part-time
paychecks will allow you to pay all of your bills? Whatever that number
is, let that become his new salary.
Next, open another checking account and designate it as his holding account. This technology allows high volume handsfreeaccess
production at low cost. Instead of putting his commission checks into
your regular household account, from now deposit them to this holding
account. Once a month, write out one check from this account to pay him
his salary. This is going to require a great deal of discipline because
some months he will bring in more than the amount youve determined to be
his salary. Thats good because you will have lean months ahead.
Allowing money to build up in that separate account will become the
reserve you need to pay him even during those slow months.
Being self-employed (or commission-based,The feeder is available on drying parkingsystem

either rewarding or horribly debilitating. It all depends on your

to any kind of plastic for kids of any age. Honestly, age 18 is about
the right time to introduce credit and debit cards. Plastic is a
privilege for financially mature adults.
Plastic confuses and
skews childrens thinking processes. Cash, on the other hand, works like a
dream. Its real, and you cannot spend more than you have. Teach your
kids how to earn, save, give and manage cash. Those are the skills they
need to learn now so that they will be able to understand and manage
plastic in the future.
I have written extensively about this in
my book, Raising Financially Confident Kids, which also includes a
foolproof, step-by-step plan that will help you to produce financially
confident adults. I hope you will read it soon, before you hand your

you a copy of the book. Enjoy!
To that end, I usually head
straight for the self-service checkouts. It is not perfect C unexpected

but it is fast and I dont have to worry about offending a checkout
worker by talking on a mobile phone.
So I was excited to hear
about a scheme in France where shoppers were able to pay for their goods
with a flick of their finger. In a six-month trial, customers of
supermarket chain Auchan and DIY store Leroy Merlin were able to pay for
their goods by placing a fingertip on a scanner. The participants
carried a payment card holding their biometric data and a case that
allowed the card to communicate with the till. All the customer had to
do was present a finger and the payment was processed.
The
customers certainly seemed to like it. Around 900 people took part in
the trial and 94pc said they would be willing to use fingerprint payment
for all their in-store purchases.Mr Delaforge said the technology could
also be developed to add loyalty points and discounts automatically
when a customer scans their fingerprint,More than 80 standard commercial
and granitetiles exist to quickly and efficiently clean pans. helping consumers save both time and money.
It
could be the influence of Minority Report, but there seems to be an
interest in biometric payments on this side of the Channel as well.A
recent study of more than 2,000 shoppers by payment processing group
WorldPay found 49pc would use biometric payments, such as fingerprint or
iris scanners C far outweighing the popularity of smartphone payments,
which won 30pc of the vote.
Ron Kalifa, deputy chairman of
WorldPay, said: Its interesting to see the public considering biometric
payments, a science that they may have seen in films or on television,
which suggests familiarity and visibility of new payment technologies is
crucial in moving usage from tech-savvy enthusiasts to the wider
public.Biometric payment might be a few years away from supermarkets in
Britain. But in the meantime, a number of developments are under way to
change the way we shop.
The idea was to take the self-scan
checkouts and redesign them for bigger shop loads. A shopper places
their items on a conveyor belt which passes through a 360-degree
scanner, able to identify bar codes from every angle. There are two
bagging areas so as soon as the first shoppers goods have passed through
the scanner, a second shopper can begin sending their items through. It
is also a cashless process, as the system only accepts payment from a
plastic card.
Sainsburys, meanwhile, is currently piloting a
mobile app which allows customers to scan their shopping using their
smartphone as they walk around the aisles. The app tracks their
spending, so customers can pay for their shopping at the till without
having to unload their goods. The service is currently available in
three stores C Clerkenwell and Bethnal Green in London and Tadley in
Hampshire C ahead of a wider rollout next year. A Sainsburys spokesman
said in future the app could act as a mobile wallet, allowing customers
to pay with their smartphone and avoid the till altogether. A slightly
more Big Brother-esque possibility is that the app could remind
customers if they forget to buy a regular item.
I hope that
checkout staff remain part of the supermarket shop. It is helpful C
sometimes essential C to have a human dispensing some common sense
behind the till. But if anything can get me out of the door faster while
keeping my personal data safe, Im all for exploring the possibilities.

Eugene program teaches young people how to sail
He
sometimes takes a little longer than others to pick things up or
understand a math or reading problem.Despite that, his mother enrolled
him in the city of Eugene's River House outdoor program youth sailing
camp out at Fern Ridge Lake two weeks ago. For five days, Nick spent
hours out on the water with Charlie Johnson, the program's sailing
instructor. And the effect of those days was more profound than Nick,
his mother or Johnson expected.
"He has been interested in sailing for a long time," Jones said. "We used to live in Tucson, Ariz., and he had been thinking about all these water sports he could get into when we moved up here."After passing over the program a year ago, Jones decided to register Nick for the first session of the eight-week program. She says she was a little anxious, but ultimately thought it was a good opportunity for him. "He was definitely a beginner."
After a week on the water, Nick was hoisting the mainsail of the RS Feva sailboat assigned to him and showing off his new skills to his mother.Johnson said that although he was aware of Nick's learning disability, he treated Nick like all the other kids. He let him learn from trial, error and close instruction, just as Johnson himself did when he was learning to sail in his hometown of Newport Beach, Calif.
"It's like going from zero to hero," Johnson said. "I know what the kids were like at the beginning of the week, and I know where I can take them."Jones was impressed with her son's skills. She says that sometimes with a new sport, learning the rules and procedures frustrates him.
But sailing was a different story. "When I went to watch I was so amazed and proud," she said. "He could sail the boat by himself, sink it and get it back up. It's a pretty technical stuff."Approximately four years ago,Weymouth is collecting gently used, dry cleaned goodiphoneheadset at their Weymouth store. We Engrave plasticcard for YOU. Merry Petitclair and the outdoor program staff were lobbying for a new youth sailing camp. The city had access to Fern Ridge Lake. It had the demand for kids to sail during the summer. The only thing missing was an instructor who would be as enthusiastic as the kids. They found Johnson, who recently won the program's Mel Jackson award for excellence.Petitclair moved toFind the perfect dedicatedserver and you'll always find your luggage! "He's so good with the kids and running around with them on the water."
Wes Service, a 20-year-old student-instructor who sails competitively at the University of Puget Sound, says that the kids who come through the program are very excited about sailing so much that they don't even blink when it's 54 degrees and raining sideways.
This is his second year working with Johnson. "This is the coolest job I'll probably ever have. The glassbottles is not only critical to professional photographers. "The county has been so supportive by providing the space," he said. "They love these kids and the energy they bring to the park."
The program takes up four or so dock slips at the Richardson Park marina, all provided free of charge. The county also lets Johnson's students store their gear in a shed not far from the marina. He would like to expand the program to offer more spots for kids. "We'll probably add one or two more weeks next year," Johnson said. "That's the easiest way right now."

Lee Il-hee earns first LPGA Tour win in Bahamas
Sean
Johnson made eight saves, and Quincy Amarikwa came through with a
clutch 84th-minute goal to help the Chicago Fire escape with a 1-1 draw
against Real Salt Lake Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium.
Amarikwas goal, a flashy side-volley off a pop header from Austin Berry, was the first shot on goal for the thoroughly outplayed Fire,Laser engravers and werkzeugbaus systems and supplies to start your own lasering cutting engraving marking etching business. who were outshot 20-12 overall, and 8-2 in shots on target.
Johnsons ironman performance started early, when he charged off his line to snatch the ball off Robbie Findleys foot in the fourth minute. In the 22nd, RSL captain Kyle Beckerman charged onto a backheel pass from Ned Grabavoy and forced Johnson to save a point-blank attempt. The barrage continued with a left-footer from Joao Plata in the 28th minute and header from Grabavoy in the 29th, both saved, and a wicked shot by Findley that sent Johnson soaring to one-hand the ball away from the goalmouth in the 32nd.
The Fires best chance of the first half came in the 39th minute, when Patrick Nyarko C who also backtracked to make a clutch defensive play on Plata earlier in the match C split two RSL defenders only to lose the ball to a slide tackle by youngster Carlos Salcedo.
Johnson remained under pressure in the second half, but began to look unstoppable just before the hour mark, when he sprawled to deflect a low shot from Chris Wingert and saved a low attempt from Tony Beltran seconds later. He faltered in the 67th minute, when Beckerman charged in on goal between defenders Jalil Anibaba and Austin Berry and caught Johnson off his line with a chip, but the shot went just wide of the upper right corner.

Two minutes later, RSL cut through the Fire defense with a quick passing sequence to get on the board. Sebastian Velasquez dished the ball from the top of the area to Grabavoy, who was making a run down the left side. Grabavoy quickly centered for Alvaro Saborio, who got off a header over defender Bakary Soumare and into the net.
Using super-chilled atoms, physicists have for the first time observed a weird phenomenon called quantum magnetism, which describes the behavior of single atoms as they act like tiny bar magnets.
Quantum magnetism is a bit different from classical magnetism, the kind you see when you stick a magnet to a fridge, because individual atoms have a quality called spin, which is quantized, or in discrete states (usually called up or down). Seeing the behavior of individual atoms has been hard to do, though, because it required cooling atoms to extremely cold temperatures and finding a way to "trap" them.We have become one of the worlds most recognised siliconebracelet brands.
The new finding, detailed in the May 24 issue of the journal Science, also opens the door to better understanding physical phenomena, such as superconductivity, which seems to be connected to the collective quantum properties of some materials.
Another factor that determines where the atoms lie in the optical lattice is their up or down spin. Two atoms can't be in the same well if their spins are the same. This kind of behavior is different from materials in the macroscopic world, whose orientations can have a wide range of in-between values; this behavior is also why most things aren't magnets the spins of the electrons in the atoms are oriented randomly and cancel each other out.
And that's exactly what the researchers found. The spins of atoms do organize, at least on the scale the experiment examined.
"The question is, what are the magnetic properties of these one-dimensional chains?" said Tilman Esslinger, a professor of physics at ETH whose lab did the experiments. "Do I have materials with these properties? How can these properties be useful?"
One debate among experts is whether at larger scales the spontaneous ordering of atoms would happen in the same way. "They've put the foundation on various theoretical matters," said Jong Han, a professor of condensed matter physics theory at the State University of New York at Buffalo, who was not involved in the research. "They don't really establish the long-range order, rather they wanted to establish that they have observed a local magnetic order."
Whether the order the scientists found extends to larger scales is an important question, because magnetism itself arises from the spins of atoms when they all line up. Usually those spins are randomly aligned. But at very low temperatures and small scales, that changes, and such quantum magnets behave differently.

Williams caught 'off-guard' by Avery Johnson firing
“It caught me off-guard,” Williams said following the team’s
shootaround Friday morning ahead of Friday night’s game against the
Bobcats. Our technology gives rtls systems developers the ability. “He was coach of the month last month.
“We did struggle the last 13 games or so, but I felt like we have a great team, we had a great coach, we had some good wins, and we just needed to get back to playing the way we were playing in November and forget about the way we played in December. We had some good things going in practice and things we were working on, and it was just a matter of putting it together.”
The Nets were unable to put it together in time to save Johnson’s job, however, having dropped 10 of their 13 games this month. Much of the blame for that has fallen at the feet of Williams, who became the official face of the franchise’s first season in Brooklyn after his decision to re-sign with the Nets this summer as part of their massive re-tooling of their roster that cost more than $330 million dollars.
But while Williams insisted that he wasn’t included in any discussions prior to Johnson’s firing – something that both King and Johnson reiterated during separate press conferences Thursday afternoon – he admitted that his play on the court, which has been below everyone’s expectations, did play a role.
“Nobody asked me what they should have done with Avery, because if they’d asked me I would have said he needs to be our coach,” said Williams, who said he texted Johnson after hearing the news. “He was a big reason why I stayed here [this summer].
“That’s how things go nowadays. As soon as something happens, someone has to take the blame, and I guess that guy is me. I can’t fight everything that’s being said, I’m not going to try. I know my teammates have my back, and like I said, I wanted to be here with Coach Avery. I’ve said it many times that he was a big reason why I came back here.”
The decision to fire Johnson came less than two weeks after Williams questioned the team’s offense following a recent practice, something the star point guard said that he personally apologized to Johnson for doing, saying he didn’t intend it to be a criticism of his now former coach.
But the offense doesn’t explain away the larger issues that have plagued Williams’ play this season, and his shooting in particular. After signing a five-year contract worth near $100 million this summer, Williams is averaging 16.6 points and 8.0 assists while shooting just 39 percent from the field overall and 29 percent from 3-point range.
“Nobody feels worse about the way I’ve been playing than me,” he said. “Every day I go home, I’ve just been trying to figure out how to get it going, play like I’m used to playing and like I used to play, and it just hasn’t clicked yet.
We were locked in some kind of science fiction time warp, where the same things kept happening over and over and nothing seemed to move forward. Was there really a 2012 or was it just a replay of 2011 and 2010? Had the Government actually changed, or was that just a Dallas-style dream sequence? Had all the pain already endured led us anywhere or was it just déjà vu all over again?
In 2012 Ireland’s patron saint was Sisyphus. The arrogant and powerful ruler of Corinth was punished by the gods in a peculiarly sadistic way, forced to push a heavy boulder up a steep hill all day and then watch as it rolled back down so that he could begin the toilsome task anew. Most Irish people know how he felt. So far €28 billion has been taken out of the economy but after all the pain the cost of servicing the State’s debts will keep spiralling upwards: from €6.2 billion in 2012 to €9.3 billion in 2013 and €9.7 billion in 2014. It’s not just that the boulder keeps rolling back down the hill, but that it’s getting heavier.
It’s not that events in 2012 lacked a certain humour. The European Central Bank began the year by “celebrating” the 10th anniversary of the euro, which was pretty funny. (The official video featured scenes of people queuing up at balloon-bedecked ATMs at midnight on January 1st,Quickparts builds injection molds using aluminum or steel to meet your program. 2002, to get hold of the new notes and wave them joyfully in the air. They had the wide-eyed look of baby seals who can’t see the club behind the hunter’s back.) In a gay sally, the Taoiseach told the world economic forum in Davos later that month that the crash happened because Irish people “went mad borrowing”, shortly after he’d told the same Irish people that the crisis “is not your fault”. He also, wittily, told an unemployed man in Mullingar in May to “get a job”.High quality stone mosaic tiles. Bertie Ahern declared himself the victim of a “grave injustice” when the Mahon tribunal found that he had been on the take. Minister for Health James Reilly showed his solidarity with the debt-ridden masses by making a personal appearance in Stubbs Gazette. You had to laugh.
In 2009 the Department of Finance, in what seemed at the time a gloomy forecast, looked forward to 2012. There would, it suggested, be growth of just 4 per cent in GNP, and investment would rise by a very modest 9 per cent. Unemployment would be falling steadily but slowly. Oh,The oreck XL professional air purifier, and net central-government debt would be 79 per cent of GDP in 2012.
This wasn’t a happy prospect, but it was the story that made sense of all the bad things that were happening back then: we were going to have a rough few years but things would then start to get better. We wouldn’t be anywhere near the pig’s back in 2012, but we’d at least be able to smell the bacon. A sober, modest kind of recovery would be the reward for all the money we were pouring into the banks and all the cuts and all the tax rises. By 2012 we’d be a chastened but hopeful lot, looking back on a hard few years but forward to a reasonably decent prospect.
By now, of course, that sober forecast looks deliriously, fantastically optimistic. In the real 2012, growth in GNP was 1 per cent, not 4 per cent. Investment didn’t rise by 9 per cent. It fell by 4 per cent.
Unemployment wasn’t falling significantly: about 350,000 workers had disappeared from the Irish economy since 2007. Government debt isn’t 79 per cent of GDP, but more like 120 per cent. It would actually be very nice if things were only as bad as they were predicted to be three years ago.
The best that could be said for 2012 is that it brought some clarity. Two big illusions were shattered. One was the idea that it was somehow possible to keep taking money out of the economy and, at the same time, to have a sustained economic recovery. This notion had some superficial plausibility because, on the face of it, this is what happened during the last great recession, in the late 1980s. Back then, the government cut spending rapidly, and somehow the economy began to grow steadily before shifting into overdrive in the mid-1990s.Klaus Multiparking is an industry leader in innovative parking system technology.

Farish Jenkins
INDIANA JONES is the ultimate action-hero academic: played by
Harrison Ford, the indomitable professor outwits Nazis and other
villains in search of religious relics, lost temples and alien
artefacts. Farish Jenkins preferred a rifle to a bullwhip, and it was
palaeontology, not archaeology, that he made glamorous. But he did have a
stylish hat, a military background and adventures in wild places. His
adoring students dubbed him the real life version of the cinematic
creation.
A Marine Corps captain,Find detailed product information for howo tractor and other products. he trained as an artillery officer, “cascading expensive, high explosive ordnance onto stockpiles of junk cars”. Unlike most modern academics, he defied categorisation into narrow specialism. A “hybrid” as he put it, he was anatomist, zoologist and vertebrate palaeontologist in equal measure.

He feared that he and his friends would be left “to build our careers with carefully stacked minutiae”. In fact, “titanic” discoveries awaited. But to crack the secrets of the fossil world, he had to master not only the rocks but the organisms they hid. He was the first Yale Graduate School student to cross over to the Medical School, to study anatomy and embryology.
Later, he illustrated his lectures with fine anatomical drawings, painstakingly rendered with what he proudly called Harvard’s best collection of sharpened chalks (he was not a PowerPoint person). When necessary, he would draw bones and muscles on his own suit. To illustrate the body’s natural shock-absorbers, he would stomp round the room on a peg leg, reading the description of Captain Ahab’s gait in “Moby Dick”. Students loved that, and how he timed his lectures to the second.
He had no time for academic squabbles and protocol, brushing off rebukes and bureaucratic constraints. Charm was his first weapon, obstinacy his second. It was not just his clothes and vocabulary that were old-fashioned. He prized thoroughness. Unusually for modern academia, he showered praise on colleagues and deprecated his own triumphs. But he was a mighty foe when roused. He could swear like a Marine, “without repeating myself” and helped oust the abrasive Larry Summers from the Harvard presidency.
The first field trip was to Africa, where his “very close and extremely naive encounters” with the local fauna included a self-portrait with a black rhino (plentiful as “rats in a dump” in those days). The beast took offence and charged; Mr Jenkins made it back to his car minus a lens cap. Living vertebrates, he decided, were just as interesting as their extinct relatives.
High speed cineradiography (making moving pictures from X-rays),The term 'hands free access control' means the token that identifies a user is read from within a pocket or handbag. plus treadmills and a wind tunnel gave him new insights into how animals move: walking, trotting, galloping, flying and brachiating (the way monkeys swing). University bosses were appalled. His students and colleagues were captivated.
But fieldwork was even more fun. The most arduous expeditions were to east Greenland and arctic Canada, armed with lavatory paper to wrap the fossils, and chocolate bars for the diggers. Mr Jenkins was a distinctive addition to the landscape: invariably well-dressed, and sporting a beloved Czechoslovak rabbit-fur hat, a pocket-watch, a flask of vodka and a gun. He rigged trip wires and automatic rifle fire to deter polar bears from the camp at night. A cast of a huge paw print in his office was a souvenir of a particularly narrow escape.
The trophies of those trips were carefully chipped open at Harvard. One proved to be the great find of his life: Tiktaalik roseae. “Rose” was the Christian name of an anonymous benefactor who subsidised the expeditions. Tiktaalik was a homage to his Inuit hosts: their word for a large freshwater fish. In fossil-speak the discovery was “the elpistostegalian central to understanding the emergence of tetrapods”. In layman’s language, it was a 375m-year-old fish with legs, a rudimentary ear and a snout for catching prey—a vital clue to how living beings first moved from sea to land.
Another big find was what he called the “ugliest animal in the world” (therefore named Gerrothorax pulcherrimus, or “most beautiful wicker chest”). It was a 210m-year-old armoured marine creature. Mr Jenkins spotted its distinguishing feature: that it opened its mouth by lifting its upper jaw. He was crucial in discovering the world’s earliest known frog, which unlike its salamander-like ancestors had hind legs for jumping. He found that in 1981 in the Arizona desert. It initially looked like “road kill”, his colleague Neil Shubin said: a 190m-year-old mash of four different frog skeletons. The two men spent the next 14 years picking them apart and putting them back together. They named their find Prosalirus bitis, combining a Latin word meaning “leap forward” with a Navajo word for “high above it”.

Venus and Serena Williams champion women's rights
Venus Williams used her signature long reach to stretch for the ball,
her racket just grazing it as it thundered past her. The crowd cheered
wildly as her defiant opponent battled back, forcing a 12-shot rally in
the blistering heat.
Eventually the seven-time Grand Slam winner clinched the game. Her challenger, nine-year-old Lola Holmes, was nevertheless thrilled.
"Venus is my favourite player. I was just thinking, wow, how am I even doing this when I was hitting the ball back. It was amazing," Holmes said breathlessly afterwards, clutching her racket and grinning from ear to ear.
She was one of several dozen young children in Nigeria being coached for an afternoon on Wednesday by two of modern tennis' biggest stars. Venus and Serena Williams kicked off an "Africa tour" in promotion of women's rights that will take in Nigeria before moving on to South Africa.
Hundreds packed the upmarket club in Lagos for the tennis clinic, braving the relentless heat as they squeezed into all available spaces. As the sisters, wearing bright pink and orange tops, tossed balls on the neat centre court, office workers hung out the windows of overlooking tower blocks and cheered the budding tennis stars.
"We're here to empower young girls and let them know that if you dare to dream, you can achieve any goal you want to," Serena said at an earlier press conference held by the Breaking The Mould initiative they are representing. We recently added Stained glass mosaic Tile to our inventory.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging "more women to break moulds that have stood between them and their potential," the organisation said in a statement. There are 80 million women in Nigeria,Find detailed product information for Sinotruk howo truck. but gender disparity is an acute problem. Africa's most populous country ranks 118 out of 134 countries on the Gender Equality Index, according to a British Council study. An indoor positioning system (IPS) is a term used for a network of devices used to wirelessly locate objects or people inside a building.
"We were able to break the mould when tennis was very dominated by white people. To have a face of colour come in and dominate showed it doesn't matter what your background is and where you come from, if you have dreams and goals, that's all that matters," Serena said.
Looking visibly tired two days after beating Maria Sharapova to win the women's world tennis championships, she said the trip was special in other ways too.
Lagos was the first African city she and her sisters had seen during a plane stopover in 1998, she recalled. "We looked out the window and we were like, we finally made it to Africa. We definitely would love to see more athletes come out of Africa," she added.
But she politely brushed off attempts to claim her as an African superstar, with one particularly enthusiastic journalist suggesting the specific Nigerian town where their ancestors may have been from. "I'd love to say I'm from Africa, but we're from the United States and we're proud to be from there as well,Directory ofchina glass mosaic Tile Manufacturers," Serena said.
Venus said a planned exhibition match on Friday – their first match in Africa – would be a highlight. "After all the finals everywhere … this will be our final in Nigeria," she said to cheers. "I don't know who's going to win but Serena just won the championship so I know she's ready. I'll have to play my best tennis."
At the lively press conference, the two sisters, who between them hold 22 major singles titles, also faced eager questions from a ten-year-old girl, Zuriah Oluwale, who quizzed Serena on whether she planned to fund any schools in Nigeria as she had done in Kenya in 2008. "I think it would be a good plan for the future,One of the most durable and attractive styles of flooring that you can purchase is ceramic or porcelain tiles." Serena said
"My next two questions are for Venus," Oluwale said, to which Venus jokingly quipped: "I'm ready."
The question – how Venus felt winning her first Wimbledon Grand Slam in 2000, two years before her questioner was born – threw into spotlight how far the sisters' have changed the game of tennis.
"Nigerians love tennis but there has been a lack of Nigerian role models since the early 1990s. It's possible some mothers saw the Williams playing, saw two black women being successful on the court, and maybe that made it easier for us as mothers to think our girls can play tennis seriously too," said Lagos resident Ebifegha Netimah, whose two teenage daughters "want to be Venus and Serena".
While the theme of the tour was empowering girls, the Williams sisters appeal to young players of both genders.
Seventeen-year-old Andrew learnt to play tennis after taking up work as a ballboy in an upmarket club. "I used to go very early or late at night before anybody else was there and hit the ball with the other ball boys. We didn't have money so we used rackets from the sports shop, and then put them back before anybody caught us."
"I really like the Williams sisters. This week I was so excited they were coming, I forgot the tiredness, I just wanted to see them because I know it will encourage me to keep playing," said Andrew.

Thieves target data from cards’ magnetic stripes
Shopping and swiping your
credit card could leave you at risk for fraud. So can dining and paying for your
meal with a swipe of your credit card.
Even though Canadians are increasingly using credit cards with chip and personal identification number (PIN) technology, there are still some businesses that rely instead on the swipe of a card’s magnetic stripe to process transactions electronically.
“There is a misconception among consumers that if you have a chip and pin number, that credit card fraud isn’t going to exist,” McAfee online security expert Robert Siciliano said.
Credit card fraud will continue until the magnetic stripe, which can also access account information, is phased out and taken off the card, Siciliano said.
Thieves know they can still win big with the card’s magnetic stripe and consumers need to pay close attention to their monthly statements for unusual charges, he said.
“These organized criminals are actually packing up, they’re leaving their home country and flying into countries where those cards exist,” Siciliano said from Boston.
They set up shop, swap point-of-sale terminals at stores and restaurants and install skimming devices on automated teller machines because they know the “clock is ticking” on credit card swiping, he said.
Siciliano said the United States,What is the best way to clean porcelaintiles floors? where chip and PIN technology isn’t widespread yet, is the main target — but Canada isn’t immune.
“They know that the countries that have that technology still in existence will eventually go to chip and PIN.Latex moldmaking compound costs around $10 for a pint, There’s a tremendous amount of money to be made right now and all studies point toward a rise in these crimes.”
In Montreal, RCMP recently dismantled an international criminal ring alleged to have been involved in a $100-million debit and credit card scam.
RCMP have said the criminal ring’s most popular scam involved stealing point-of-sale terminals — in which consumers insert their credit cards and enter a PIN number — from businesses and modifying them to steal credit card information.
RCMP said the terminals were rigged using short-range wireless technology to relay information to fraudsters remotely.
Visa Canada’s Michael D’Sa said data on a credit card’s magnetic stripe isn’t encrypted.
But banks already do a higher level of scrutiny before approving a transaction with only a credit card’s magnetic stripe, which helps detect fraud, he said.

“If and when that day ever happens, there will be serious consequences to that.”
Visa Canada said it’s not able to disclose a timeline to phase out the magnetic stripe on its credit cards, and there would have to be complete migration to chip and PIN technology before it could be considered.
