'Take Down That Million''Finale' recap

It's hard to believe that we're already at the tenth and eleventh legs of the race, but here we are - it's already time for the finale! There are only four teams left: Chippendales James and Jaymes, twins Natalie and Nadiya, couple Trey and Lexi and goat farmers Josh and Brent. Who will take home the million dollars? Well, let's find out, shall we?

Setting off first from last week's pit stop in Mallorca, Spain are Trey and Lexi, who won the last leg. They're heading to Barcelona, Spain, where they'll need to catch a train to the Loire Valley in France. Once at the location, their next clue will be stuck to the windscreen of a new Ford Escape. Clever product placement! The Chippendales head out about 15 minutes after them, followed by the goat farmers and finally Natalie and Nadiya a little less than two hours after Trey and Lexi.

All four teams meet up and arrive in Barcelona at nearly the same time and ride the train together to France. The goat farmers are excluded from the three-team alliance the others have going on, and unfortunately Josh and Brent overhear them discussing their plans to work together going forward. While they don't let on that they've heard and join the group, they decide to let it motivate them even more to win. Fair enough,China plastic moulds manufacturers directory. I suppose.

In France, the next clue instructs teams to pick up eight empty crates from a cafe, then, using the hands-free lift gate, kick it open and load the crates. Once the cargo is loaded, they must kick the lift gate closed (is this some new Ford vehicle technology they're contractually forced to highlight in order to get their ad money?) and travel to the Chateau de Villandry, home of the world's largest garden. Their next clue will be waiting on a stone dog.

Each of the teams seem rather jazzed about the kick door feature and let out hollers of "woo!" and "awesome!" to express their enthusiasm - it's rather painful. The Chippendales find it "custom and so cool", while Josh and Brent discuss the fact that they both want one and might buy it if they win. Dear God, I hope Ford bankrolled the entire season of this show for all this nonsense.

Anyway, they're off! Trey and Lexi lead the pack after asking for directions and the others follow, with Josh and Brent pulling up the rear. Natalie and Nadiya are especially unhappy with the farmers being on their trail since they have a Speedbump to complete coming up. Arriving at the garden, the alliance teams find it hard to ask where the stone dog is, until Josh and Brent show up and start speaking French. They're still in third place once they retrieve the next clue, but it's clear to the others now that the race is seriously on.

Next up, the teams will be heading to da Vinci's final resting place, Chateau D'Amboise. Before they can head there, though, the twins have to do their Speedbump. They must find a room in the Chateau and help a woman finish dressing by tying her lace-up corset. Once that's done, they'll get their next clue. However, there's a bit of drama when Lexi and Trey and James and Jaymes head off, followed by Josh and Brent. Natalie and Nadiya shout to their alliance members not to let the farmers follow them,Our technology gives rtls systems developers the ability. and things get a bit nasty, with Josh and Brent declaring the twins "bitches".

The alliance seemingly breaks down as Josh and Brent become part of the fold due to their French knowledge. The twins finish their corset-tying expedition soon after, and they're sort of in luck as Josh and Brent lead the others in a full circle and have to pull over for directions. They don't get ahead, but it may get them a bit closer. Trey and Lexi manage to find the church on the grounds of Chateau D'Amboise first, followed by the Chippendales and then the goat farmers. The twins are still yet to arrive.

The next clue is for a Detour. The teams will need to choose between two old French traditions: Chow or Plow. For Chow, they'll have to make the daily meal for a pack of hunting hounds by sorting, weighing and cutting various types of meat and serving it in the feeding area. For Plow, they'll need to use a traditional horse and plow to work a field. Once the farmer decides it's properly cultivated, they'll get their next clue. The Chippendales are going for the farming task, while the farmers oddly choose Chow,The oreck XL professional air purifier, along with Trey and Lexi.

When the twins finally arrive at the chapel, they decide to do the Chow task, which could have been problematic considering that only two teams can do it at a time. However, they're in luck as en route, Trey and Lexi decide to plow the fields, hoping it'll give them a chance to pull ahead and further their lead. They get started first, but it does take them a minute to get the task right and plow in a straight line. The twins pull up to the area after and nearly decide to do the plowing task since they're already there. The Chippendales are just arriving as they are out of their car,We are pleased to offer the following list of professional mold maker and casters. and Josh and Brent turn up soon after.

The twins and the farmers get started with the butchering and start yelling at each other the entire time, with Natalie accusing Josh of faking his earlier ankle injury. It does seem somewhat good-natured as they both realise that they're in a competition, but it's hard to say whether there's any actual hard feelings behind it. As this is happening, Trey and Lexi continue with the field and the Chippendales get started on it, experiencing the same difficulties as the others did at the beginning.

Josh and Brent pull far ahead on the dog food challenge, confusing the twins by talking and joking with them and distracting them from working as quickly. After lying the meat out, the farmers go to gather their 20kg of dog food to surround the meat. Natalie and Nadiya had better get a move on if they want to stay in this race. At the same time, Trey and Lexi finish plowing the field and receive their next clue, sending them to La Cave Des Roches (which Lexi adorably pronounces "roaches") in Bourré. They're obviously happy they changed tasks. The Chippendales are close behind them in second place.

At the Cave des Roches, Trey and Lexi read out their next clue, which is for this week's Roadblock. Teams will have to search an underground cave for mushrooms. After studying three distinct varieties, they'll have to rely on memory and search the dark maze of tunnels to find ten of each. Once they've got it, they'll get their next clue. That's what the crates are for - ah, how clever... or something. Lexi thinks she can remember by colour and shape what she's looking for and heads down into the cave.

Josh and Brent have finished the dog food task and are followed close behind by the twins, who may get lucky as - surprise, surprise - the farmers are lost... again. Down in the caves, Lexi loses a little time when she gets lost in the dark, but James goes a bit wrong and brings back one of the wrong varieties. Luckily, Lexi is right the first time out and gets the clue to drive to Chateau de Chenonceau - this week's pit stop. James and Jaymes are close behind.

At the same time, the twins have finally arrived at the mushroom Roadblock and they're neck in neck with Josh and Brent, so it's anyone's guess. At the same time, the Chippendales check in first at the pit stop, winning this leg of the race as well as the all-new Ford Escape - one for each of them. Trey and Lexi come in second this time around, which isn't too bad since they're usually first and everyone has to lose sometime.

Natalie and Nadiya pull ahead in the mushroom task when Brent gets lost in the caves, so they head to the pit stop. However, while it might seem like they're in the lead, they get faulty directions from a local, who sends them to Chambeau rather than Chanonceau. They're eventually put back on the right direction, but there's roadwork where Josh and Brent are, as well. I think this is the most heated things have been all season! Finally, Josh and Brent make it to the pit stop first, knocking the twins out. Ugh, no! I'm so disappointed.

There's not much time to focus on the disappointment, however, as it's time for the final leg of the race. Setting off from the Loire Valley, the Chippendales are leaving at 1.33am for New York City. They've got a postcard which they'll need to figure out is sending them to the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn. Their clue will be hidden in a sideshow sign. Trey and Lexi are only 11 minutes behind them and rather excited - it should be a good one. In last place, Josh and Brent will head off over an hour later, but considering it's the middle of the night, they all meet up at the airport. Also, the farmers know New York City quite well, being from Connecticut, so they may have a bit of an advantage here.

Arriving in New York, the final teams have ditched their bags and are pretty much just running free, heading to catch a cab.Western Canadian distributor of ceramic and ceramic tile, Hilariously, there's no line in the taxi queue, which was clearly set up for the sake of filming this show. I've waited up to 45 minutes for a cab in the middle of the night at JFK, so, you know. In any case, Josh and Brent are currently in first place but everyone is in a cab and headed to Coney Island. The Chippendales and Trey and Lexi stand right in front of the sign where the clue is hidden but don't find a single thing, walking right past it for ages. Josh and Brent have the same trouble, and I don't get why no-one just goes over to the sign on the billboard where there's a ticket that looks exactly like their usual clues.
